    TAS runs 50 TV channels on satellite NSS-11

    Released: 15.06.2009, 09:34 TODAY!

    On NSS-11 satellite, a package of 50 Chinese television stations. The TAS (Teleport Access Services, Inc..) For the satellite operator SES Americom-New Skies ordered 3 transponders on the distribution of programs to 7 million cable households in Taiwan.

    Teleport Access Services (TAS) is a leading distributor of cable stations in Taiwan, which currently broadcasts total of 115 programs on 4 different satellites.

    Satellites NSS 11 is parked at the position 108.2 degrees east and provides capacity in Ku band covering China, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Southern Asia and parts of the Middle East. Satellites are designed to transfer a wide range of media and data applications, from DTH to government telecommunications and VSAT networks.

    Anyone getting NSS11's Ku beam in South Asia?
