I have 6ft solid Ku dish with fixed stand. Signal strength of Hotbird channels is very low. Also signals stop almost totally during cloudy conditions. Some one told me that this dish might have been tuned through C-arch, it should be fixed in Ku-arch. Then the signals would not drop even in rain/cloudy conditions.
Would some expert help me to sort this problem out. Aslo please tell me position (approx. right left / up down ) to catch Ku-arch for hotbird
Waiting from urgent reply.
c arch what is that there is c band and ku band hotbird only transmits in the ku band if you have a c band feed then you will only pick up c band frequencies you can buy c and ku on one feedhorn but if you only need hotbird then a dedicated ku feed with .3 lnb would be best check footprint in your location to see what size dish you need for h bird
