    Default G - Coship CDVB 5668

    Coship CDVB 5668
This is an Nd*S satellite decoder, which will soon go to waste in most
    Households.
Anyone with an idea or software to convert its operation
either to fta, or Irdato or viaces or conex, please give your opinion,
but most of all participate on the recovery of waste.
If can be changed to use any other encryption then
would be useful, but not when it is left as ND es. decoder.

    Hi Sword...
Enter pin code 1978 to access menu or options. e.g to configure FTA channels if stb was using GTV software

Enter pin code 0000 if the stb had been upgraded to f2v...

make a note of the circuit board number like mb 569.02 or kmb 454.1 for example as coship play a huge game of mix and match with the 5668 board may be used in disguise in other markets for which s/w may be easy. whats the main chip? cx 24142?

Try null modem, if does not respond then try straight, it wont damage anything - only will not respond with wrong cable, correct software.

Here are the links to the software http://www.4shared.com/file/jgCW_th5...010_06_18.html http://www.4shared.com/file/ME7VIl3X/UartUpgTool.html by the way the receiver has a female rs232 so finding a null cable that has male and female connectors is next to impossible
