    Default Hotbird in India??????


    Dear Friends,
    Iam from Indian South Region(karnataka) residing in costal region of Arabian sea. I have 12 feet mesh dish. I want to try Hotbird 3. So can anyone tell me which transponder has highest signal strenght in wide beam of Hotbird3? By using that frequency, It will be easier for me to search Hotbird. Please Help me.........

    Here in Pakistan 10723 Hor 29900 has a very good signal strenght. You can try with it. Its more batter that you use Analogue receiver to find Hotbird first time. In Analogue receiver Duna tv frequency 10815 Hor is a strong frequency (for some receivers it is 1062) and Audio is 6.60.

    Thank you very much asifde. I will try to search hotbird very soon and post the results here.

    There are many reports saying that Hotbird3 can be received in the Western Costal(Arabian sea) Region of India. So I have hope of Receiving it.

    hey, alanpaladka(whats the meaning of this name?), by the way u can
    get very easily hotbird in ur area.,no problam just u can this bird with atleast
    8feet stamped metal dish or fibre dish .( we already got this bird extream south tamil nadu.)

    alanpaladka, you can get Hotbird but with 10FT solid dish rather than with a 12FT mesh dish. And if you go to get one....prefer a shallow dish over a deeper dish.

    Critically important would be the right focussing & centering of LNB.

    Thats the Good news man. . By the way, which channel you had used during search?
    JUST get Duna tv frequency first by the analoque receiver and then try with
    digitall frequencies.
