    Default CCcam on ubuntu-8.04


    Hi ppls!

    Do anyone know how to install cccam server on ubuntu 8.04. i have alreay installed ubuntu on my computer. need help to install the cccam server.

    there's a lot of tutorial. google for it.

    Is nothing special, just create the folders /var/etc/ and /var/bin/, put both on the path, copy the cccam files, change attributes and that's all. Hopefully you have 64 bits Ubuntu so you can use also the CCcam 64 bits.

    For start/stop you can create scripts (check with uncle google) or directly from a terminal.

    yeps, study crond too if you want to schedule commands, scripts, etc.

    Where can i download the Cccam files and should i put /var/etc/ and /var/bin/ in ubuntu or my receaver ?

    speaking about Ubuntu 8.04 and the CCCam... what player can play as a client to receive paytv with cccam account (i have one and wanna try it on ubuntu)...

    You will need a player capable to run CCcam and with a LAN connection. These means that you have to buy a Dreambox.
