    bi pimpin is right
    Here's another one http://forum.d--n--s.com/showthread.php?t=83021
Even if there was a "report this post" feature we could help the mods by reporting spam posts

Unfortunately simply deleting spam posts will not remove them. And now the spammers know that this site is available, The flood gates will and have opened.. And it will simply go on and on, Until some one wakes up and stops it.

A couple of possible solutions are, No hotmail, G-mail, fast-mail accounts will be excepted for authorization code returns. Spammers don't like being traced, and every e-mail leaves some sort of footprint in the Headers..
When some one registers , allow 48 hours before there allowed to post, In that time and after the verification e-mail has been sent , and replied to, send another e-mail, If it bounces, delete the registration. And this can be done automatically, with the same software that allows the verification code to enact. Anyone can set up an e-mail account simply to except the verification e-mail, then delete it. they are then for all intent and purposes untraceable.

Every month, send out a bulk E-mail or PM to all members, with a simply welcome message, the message is unimportant,, All e-mails or PM's that bounce, delete the registration. on the off chance that some genuine members get deleted [ highly unlikely but never the less possible] simply apologise and reinstate them.
Once the spammers realise there messages is not getting through, they will move on.
It really is that simply, and while a "report a post" icon is a welcome thing it will NOT stop the spammers. These people send out thousands of spam posts, e-mails every day, they only want 5 or 6 bites to make it worth while.

Over the years I have seen some very good forums and boards completely destroyed by spam posts, And unless someone gets of there fat arses and does something this board will go the same way..
    regards from OZ bassett
