    Default hevet800/1000

They were made in 2 versions, 1meg flash or 2meg flash.
If it's the 2meg version, use rigged hevet800/1000 firmware.
The 1meg version uses hevet500 firmware.
Pclinkv5.5 can save/upload firmware to the receiver.
The pclink password is loadbin, then hit the pickup button
to save the receiver firmware to your pc. I never tried it with
the 1meg flash version though. You will be able to tell the size
that way, or pop the cover and get the number off the flash
chip itself. It will be something like 29lv800 or 29lv160.
The 160 is the 2meg chip.

Hi, I have an old Lazer 2003 FTA 2Meg. I haven't been using it for a couple of years. I am thinking of bringing it back to life. Would this be worth the effort? Can I find any relatively new SW that can decode something? If it's just FTA, I think it's not worth the time.
    Thanks for any answers!

    Wink bissed

will still do biss encrypted channels on 30w and N2 radio channels on 97w.
don't forget,it has no blindscan feature so adding new sats/tp's is basically a manual operation unless there are many tp's on the same network.

That is no problem, I still know how to find a sat manually . I would only ask one more question, and that is where can I find the SW?

    Post I use

    I use
    http://www.dvb-upload.com/index.php
but avoid softcams and go for full size firmware.
Do a search for hevet ,time period all.
lemon 020 or microyal 1000 firmware should also work.
