    Default CCcam & GBOX on dreambox 500s

    Hello my friends,

    I need help about using GBOX & CCcam on dreambox 500s together. I have a deam 500S and currently GBOX running on it, then i will insert a local card to dreambox 500s, and i want gbox to continue working properly. But, my main purpose is, also i want to install CCcam and make it defalut ( of course i shall switch from cccam to gbox whenever i want) and watch tv with CCcam , but at the same time GBOX should work also and ONLY and ONLY GBOX MUST BE ABLE to USE the local card in the dreambox .
    Is this possible and how ? Also which image do i need for that or it does not matter ?

    Thanks in advance,

    you can make scripts for that. or run gbox manually via telnet. also, i cannot understand why you would need gbox when you already have cccam. tell your friends to switch to cccam.

    here's a sample script to check gbox status every two minutes. you can copy this and make the file as checker.sh or whatever you want then execute it via telnet.

    checker.sh

    #!/bin/sh
    SERVICE='gbox'

    if ps ax | grep -v grep | grep $SERVICE > /dev/null
    then
    echo `date "+%c"` "$SERVICE is running, everything is fine" >> /tmp/services.status
    else
    echo `date "+%c"` "$SERVICE crashed, starting $SERVICE now...." >> /tmp/services.status
    /sbin/sh /usr/script/gbox_cam.sh start
    fi

    I'm newbie for dm500s.
    My question is :is there a script for nabilo for gbox and cccam work simultaneously.
    Here is some script, but dont work for me:

    CAMNAME="GBoX-CCcam"
    USERNAME="GBoX + CCcam"
    ZAPTIME=8
    CAMID=6395
    DVBSET=1
    INFOFILE="ecm.info"
    # end

    remove_tmp ()
    {
    rm -rf /tmp/*info* /tmp/*gbox* /tmp/*online* /tmp/*share*/tmp/atack* /tmp/debug*
    }
    start_cam ()
    {
    /var/bin/gbox &
    sleep 2
    /var/bin/CCcam_2.0.6
    }
    stop_cam ()
    {
    touch /tmp/gbox.kill
    /bin/prockill gbox
    /bin/prockill CCcam_2.0.6
    killall -9 gbox newcs_1.30 CCcam_2.0.6 2> /dev/null
    remove_tmp
    }
    case "$1" in
    start)
    echo "[SCRIPT] $1: $CAMNAME"
    start_cam
    ;;
    stop)
    echo "[SCRIPT] $1: $CAMNAME"
    stop_cam
    ;;
    restart)
    echo "Restaring $CAMNAME"
    stop_cam
    start_cam
    ;;
    *)
    "$0" stop
    exit 1
    ;;
    esac
    exit 0

    Hi again my friend,

    First of all, thanks a lot for an explanation.
    Now, i need some more details if possible please,
    how can i define my local card to the GBOX only, and not allowed CCcam to use this? And also, my aim of using both of them is another story,little bit complicated to explain.
    If you can help me regarding the matter, i would be very happy.

    Thanks in advance,
