    Default skystar 2 - internet


    I am wondering is there anyone with enough patient to explaine me some tricks with skystar 2 and internet.I just got the card and I can not do anything,also I am having problems with many scrambled channels,in a word total beginer.

    1. get progdvb
    2. get s2emu plugins
    3. get latest softcam.key and put together with s2emu in "plugins' folder
    3. get pidscanner/filegrabber plugins and install them

    s2emu and the softcam.key should answer your question on the scrambled channels (you did not specify which bird you are focused right now, so im assuming hotbird)

    pidscanner/filegrabber are the ones you need if you want to grab data offline. again, hotbird is not a good satellite for data grabbing. try Astra or even Nilesat for shownet data streams. i'll emphasize that you DO NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER THE FILES BEING DOWNLOADED.
