    Default Transponder problem

When I go through Dish TV channels on my Dreambox DM600 PVR, Some transponders not lock. But when I see a channel list preview, the EPG of every channel is visible.

When I goto that channel the signal not lock.

EPG loading menas the receiver getting a signal. But why it is not locked

I have try re align the dish, changing LNB but no use. I get signal only from some transponders. The LNB settings are correct (9750 , 10600, 11700).

    What can be the problem?

As far as I can see, the channels with higher SR (SR = 40700) is not opening.

You've answered your own question, Many receivers are configured to allow an S/R rate between 2 and 40.000. and this is why your not able to access some channels with a higher S/R

I have 4 dishes connected to the receiver. Only Dish TV (NSS6) giving this problem. With other satellites no problem with 40700 SR.

    Any idea?

Looks like an alignment problem to me.. 'Cause even though the dish is misaligned you may still be able to catch the EPG, since its just data. You need to realign your dish.

Please let us know which TP's you are able to recieve. My guess is that you are able to recieve the 11XXX series transponders and not 12,XXX ones. Sure its a misalignment. If so.

I suggest you read the spec's of your receivers, as I said most receivers are configered to only read an S/R figure of between 2 and 40.000.
Most europien satellites only use an S/R of 30.000.

Question does anyone know of a satellite receiver that can handle an S/R of more then 40.000.

And more importantly which brand of satellite receiver does Dish TV supply to it's subscribers

As for the FEC figure, 99 per sent of receivers have this handled automaticly

I use a beetel reciever. (www.beetel.net/set-top-boxs.htm) These handle S/R above 40 K( i think, Cause i am able to tune to these TPs), it can also read low SR signals, like the ones found on Edusat(Eg: SR- 1700).

Dish TV uses Zenega and Kaon recievers, which can handle High S/Rs

Well Dreambox DM600 PVR can handle SR's above 40000. I'm getting signal from other sat's of TP's above 40000 SR. This problem I get only with NSS6 satellite which broadcard Dish TV.

Set the same transponders for a signal level of above 68db on quality and try again.
Use a satellite meter for fine tune if you have one, mostly using the poor transponders.
also try out with any simple sat receiver just to prove its a dm problem.
