    @walkonwater.

Your Question Can't be Answered That Easy.
You Ask to many Qusstions in one go and DON'T state what you want to do with a Receiver.
It true that the Humax is a good Receiver, but only the Old one ( 5400 ) that is not to say that the new ones arnt good. But as said WHAT do you want to do with it.
    Premium-x 7100 ( also good )
Dream Box also Good ( but hard to use )
    and a few more.

I know it is not easy that is why i asked.
I am travelling from Arctic to Antarctic and all over the wolrd.

I am heading up North to Longyearbyen.
Pretty good because still pick-up satellite signal from Astra 28.2E.

I have expensive receivers but it is really hard to use.
Tandberg, PowerVu Atlanta, Strong, Manhattan, FortecStar.
Forstec FCSI 5100 Ultra is friendly user with powerscan and hidden services. I have been scanning satellite up there.

If you can give me your best reciever or any information much be appreciated.

    Send your comments.

    You forgot Seca!
I don't think you will find a receiver that will do all that. If there was we would all have one.

    Who is this clown,

What you ask is not possable, so run along and waste someone else time.

You say you have Scientific Atlanta, PowerVu receiver, I very much doubt it would be autherised, for anything. and by the way you talk, I doubt you would even know the workings of receivers like Tandberg, unyet you say nothing about Triple Dragon or the 4 or so versions of the Dreambox.

But sound impressed, when someone talks about a 15 year old Humax, which incedently was superseded years ago, and is so far out of date it's not funny, In fact humax 5400 have just about reached "door Stop" status
