Anyone receiving Tatasky in Thailand ?
If so please inform us of the province/town the dish is located and its type and size.
Yes , know from the past you can get many bouquets up North which we cannot receive in Bangkok such as Telstar 18 Ku but always thought they were the channels directed towards China. Now it seems you also get Indian Channels we don't !
Gluecklicher Mann...lucky chap
Can anyone further South get Tatasky.
It was briefly offered by Satthai Bangkok last year but withdrawn as the dish required was too costly, namely 4.2M solid ( price over $1500 )
If u did had taken up that offer i do know that the boss did explain to you that yr signal would only be ok in the daytimes and at night u would loose the signal
There are other ways to get tata sky
maybe u need to find a good friend send him a slingbox - wink wink
After all i do watch BSB SKY here in Thailand
If your a good boy i might let u play with BSB sky for a few days
You dont even need a slingbox to watch sky uk
You can even watch SKY UK on your dreambox
I should take a look at the link pimping originaly posted
If your a wizz kidd youll be suprised what u can do
take a look at this www.orb.com
who needs a slingbox when u have orb
Me and Pimp are on higher levels we are working on Dreambox WorldWide
Many thanks for that info but the soi number of the hotel incorrect !
President Park Hotel
95 Sukhumvit Soi 24, Bangkok
Will go round there tomorrow to see if Tatasky is working and check the dish size if visible as surely must be over 2.4M to receive Tatasky in Bkk
Hotels are often the answer. Sky / Star tv for example is only available in SE Asia to large hotels and for many years the Belair Hotel soi 5 was the only place in Bkk where one could watch Skynews.
PS Who is Raj The hotel Manager ?
Checked again on 12 ft mesh dish .
No ku band signal here in Bangkok on the satellite !
Anyway anyone who receives Tatasky in Central or Southern Thailand please post here.
There is a guy in Italy who receives Tatasky with a 3.6m dish.
So it should be possible in Thailand.
11670 and 11630 no problem. they have the thai channels.
Its the other frequencies that we can not get
