Din cate vad suporta samba/cifs deci:
    - il legi in retea
    - faci un mount -t cifs in Kathi
    mount -t cifs //your/external/disk //local/path -o user=xxx password=yyyy

Exista un exemplu pe care poti sa-l modifici si in scripturile din AAF image din Kathi, in init.sh:

    # Cifs aktivieren
    insmod /data/bin/cifs.ko

    # NFS mounten
    # mount -t nfs 192.168.0.20:/mnt/IDE1/nas /mnt/nfs -o rw,nolock,intr,soft,udp,rsize=4096,wsize=4096

    # Cifs mounten
    # mount -t cifs //192.168.0.20/video /mnt/nfs/ -o user=harry,passwort=hase

Kathy stie doar USB Mass Storage.

    A doua...

    Recording/Playback

Since Firmware 1.04 (and al 1.04 based Images) it's possible to record/playback programs on an external hard drive (USB2) Sadly it's not possible yet to record to a network share, but this is only a matter of time (NFS/CIFS client is already available)

CIFS Protocol = Client systems use the CIFS (Common Internet File System) protocol to request file and print services from server systems over a network. It is based on the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol.

XFS is a high-performance journaling file system created by Silicon Graphics, originally for their IRIX operating system and later ported to Linux kernel.
