    Default C-BAND CHANNEL SCRACHING IN SAUDI ARBIA?? ANY SALUTION


    I Trasfer fom pakistan one monthe ago to saudi arabia as satelite engineer.I am working as software engineer and satellite uplink technician.I am using 2 dishes for asia sat 3s ,and Pas 7/10.
    Receiver hummy 5400 and topfield 4000Fi.

    I have big problem all C-BAND channels scraching 2 / 5 mint by mint.

    But i have 80 % signel. for asia and pas 7.

    The one dish techniction in KSA say me.
    This problem come from mobile and telepone microvawe.
    And microvawe is power u have scraching this c band channels.

    This is a big problem why this channels scraching in KSA.

    But microvawe avalble in pakistan why not scrach this channels in pakistan.

    My every thing is ok.........note it.....

    Scraching any salution wellcome ............

    pls post your ideas....

    what do you mean by scraching?
    The channels start disappearing after some times?

    He means terrestrial interference on his Cband beams. This can be caused by many things including phone copmanies that broadcast in the 3000 - 4000mhz range.

    So he needs filter out the intereference. Sometimes you can do this by using RG11 instead of RG6, placing the coax in a conduit, and by making your own lead shield to go around the feedhorn of the lnb.

    All sorts of weird and wonderful low tech solutions may work.

    In Taiwan we lose 3716 V from pas10 in one city area only. Solution, put up a flywire mesh around the dish to block the incoming signal.

    Reduce the unwanted signal noise and increase the frequency you want. Works for me.

    Yes the phone comanies use 3000/ 4000 mhz for air trafic.
