    YES its great

But to be true honest i still prefer the relook 400s it has all and more the dreambox can do - All this talk about dreambox bla,bla

Relook 400s is still the best

    2 CI Slots
    2 Card Slots
    + HARDRIVE

    Never Never FREEZE

Im in a position to choose which receivers to play with and the dreambox stays in the box back on the shelf . The relook is my everyday receiver and thats a fact .The dreambox might be a good play box but the relook beats it hands down .

    @Phuketsatellite,

i heard the relook 400 loses one of the tuners if you install other images (enigma) on it? so i'd say stick with dreamboxes for now till the support matures for relook.

never heard that rubbish before !

Let me explain relook 400s was the first linux box then the dreambox followed much later on all the images are for relook then scaled down for dreambox .

I was the same as YOU but pornchai in bkk convinced to to buy 1 from him maybe he was desperate to get ridd off ? Admit when i got it i thought what a piece of shit - After banging my head agianst the door i found www.satupdate.net this turned this relook into a beast of a machine .

NO JOKE - I have all dreambox at hands reach but now i cannot stop playing with the relook best thing i got my hands on for long time and its been running 6 months trouble after the 100s of reflash i have done .
    ITS THE BIZZ

YOU Just need to know what firmware to load ( THATS ALL )

    What crap.

Relook never came before the Dreambox.

Relook are only cheap copies of the Dreambox, for people who cannot afford the Dreambox.

The advantage of the Dreambox is its very large developer community.

Also the Dreambox 7025 has the advantage of plug and play tuners; One can mix the tuners between DVB-S, DVB-C and DVB-T.

I personaly own 3 Dreamboxes; one of them is the 7025, which I use with one DVB-S tuner and one DVB-C tuner. Can you do that with your Relook 400?

Also, there are many copies from China of the Dreamboxes. Never seen a copy of a Relook.

Also, in Germany, the Dreambox is always in the top 10 receivers sold in the country; Relook are not in that top 10, even with the much cheaper price.

I am sure that the Relook 400 is a good receiver. But I believe Dreambox is still better.

so if you don't have anything to contribute about the 7025/+, please butt off and start your own thread

Firstly you say cheap copys of dreambox - then you say have you ever seen a clone relook ? ( make your mind up m8 )

Listen i have more than 500 dreambox in stock
    I have ONLY 2 Relook ( in stock )

Dont knock the relook unless you know what your talking about it is far better for performance and quality thats for sure + the advantage to record and watch another channel at same time .....

Dreambox has taken over for its flexibility and that fact clones are everywhere around the world at silly price .

NO you will not get a clone relook ( Thats for sure )
They are also double the price of dreambox

Dreambox sell's thats GOOD thats the very reason why i keep large QTYs
but the relook still does 10x more than the DM dont care what u say .

I want a receiver i can turn on and watch tv ( thats it for me )
Thats why relook dont sell cos its boring ITS WORKS and no play

I dont want a receiver just because i can flash different firmware that really mean jack shit in the asia market .

It dont matter anyway i get paid to do mods and firmware for dreambox and relook since they are both the same os and are both universal with the relook .

Im not trying to sell the relook
MY BIZZ is 10000000000% DREAMBOX check the sites

But dont knock something unless u know what yr talking about and if your a expert like me and understand linux and the OS your world is unlimited

OH and if i have hit a nerve GET OUT OF THE SAT GAME
For those who want to know http://www.dgstation.co.kr/new/produ...ook400s&menu=2
    worlds first linux receiver

Over the next few days i will release 100s of firmware for relook and dreambox on another website

If u ever monitor the forum i have given many DREAMBOX for FREE

But if you think the DM 7025 PLus is the bee knees thats GOOD
I have stock arrived tommorow so u can order online

YES DM7025 Plus in stock in thailand

Please name 10 things that the Relook 400 does and that the Dreambox 7025+ does not.

And BTW, I have personally met with DG Engineers from Korea at the Anga Fair in Germany. I was not impressed.

    Also, you sound so modest.

    Default DM 7020 v DM7025....some thoughts

Most interesting that nobody in Asia has admitted here using and enjoying the DM7025 .

For those who like to customise their receiver without resorting regularly to the editing softwares on their pc's then the DM7020 is in my view far more versatile.
You cannot edit OR rename channels transponders or satellites 'in box ' with the DM7025 ....but you can with the DM7020.

Nor do I think the DM 7025 can allow the user to prepare his own transponder list as the DM7020 can.

The DM 7020 and indeed the DM 500 has a menu driven user interface which starts with a choice of sats and bouquets with sub menus covering both which allows unlimited editing/customisation. The DM7025 does not.

If you have the DM7025 AND want to edit/customise your channels .... you must do this on your pc and upload to the box.
This is fine if your pc and box are alongside each other but if the box is upstairs and the pc downstairs or some distance away ,you will have a lot of lugging around and cable reconnecting to do !

Have noticed also that Jsat the well known highly experienced Bangkok sat Co features the DM7020 prominently on their website but does not even mention the the DM7025/+.
Could the reason perhaps be that they know the DM7020 is for the sat consumer / home viewer and the DM 7025 more suitable for the experienced computer expert ?
