Default Telstar 18ku V In Thailand

Is anyone in Thailand getting Telstar 18 KU Vertical beam ie D-Sky other than Daeng in C.M ?
Heard its impossible with a normal sized dish but perhaps some one is using a 16 or 20 **** dish further South in Thailand and able to watch.

We certainly have not asked this question before !
The question asked a couple of months ago concerned Telstar 18 ku full stop .

Big Pimpin kindly informed us we can receive the horizontal beam. That was true. Dimsum tv is indeed available all over Thailand and we are all gratefull for that valuable info.

This posting on the other hand concerns the VERTICAL beam which has many interesting channels including Disney for the kids and others which we CAN open on D-Sky .
We would all love to know if anyone South of CM can receive this, possibly by using a 16 or 20 **** dish .
    All info welcomed .

Thanks Pat....Udon is certainly further South than C.M ( but around 350 miles to the north of Bangkok!) May I ask what size dish you are using and whether mesh or solid offset / solid prime focus. ?

    YOU LUCKY MAN !
The good news is that if you contact our fellow member DVBKEY and you really want to,
you will be able to watch dozens of channels on that sat v/polarity
    D-sky-net, + Combos TV, + Hongkong cable
    Wish I lived in Udon
PS Please dont forget to post your dish details here so anyone else in Udon/Nongkai area or even Lao can know what size /type of dish to buy. Thanks

    hi folks

well'd tried the telstar 18 about 200km south bangkok. dimsum H beam pretty good. vertical beam no luck yet.
I didn't wanna make to much new adjustments cause where I live near the .......... it's very tricky to get a dr*am signal powerful (a lot of noise gain reflections).
will try it again next month.........
btw if the H transponders works why should'nt the V also? it's the same beam

    gnags

    c-band will send you pm
