There are many door to door cargo in Dubai to India, Philipines, Sri Lanka etc: & they cost around 2 to 3 USD.
You can also send through airlines cargo which would cost just about a USD or a bit more, but less than 2 USD.
But one place in Saudi I have seen a sat shop & next door is a cargo dispatcher company thats lucky for some.

Many thanks for that info but Emirates Airlines have confirmed they charge around $17 a kilo as excess bagage that makes a shipping cost of around US$900 to take it on ones flight ! A total of a thousand dollars for the dish excluding getting it to the airport and back and any customs fees for clearance.
If anyone can name a shipper in Dubai who can do it for less please give me their name and phone number. Or anyone selling such a dish in Thailand.
    Many thinks.
ps this explains why one sees so few large solid dishes in Thailand. A few large mesh dishes of 12 **** but thats it. Mesh is definitely unsuitable for weak ku band signals..must be solid
