    Default Why LNB frequency is Different for Different Satellites ?


    Hi ALL,

    Which frequency in KU band we require to changing the LNB frequency to 10600 and 9750

    AS for DISHTV we set LNB frequency to 10,600
    TATA 10600
    Dialog TV 9750
    ORBIT 10600
    ABS 10600 and 22KHZ on in my receiver(Else No signal)

    why is it so can anyone explain me why we change LNB frequency...

    Because thats what the providers braodcast on.... so we buy LNB's for that systsm.

    Just like cband is 5150

    No sir I asked why for some KU satellites we use 9750 and for some 10600 why this LNB frequency is different....

    IN C band its always 5150...

    Beacsue it depends whether the frequency is in the 11000 or 12000 range thats why you hav univerals with high low

    KU band has Low Band (10.7 - 11.8 GHz) and High Band (11.7 - 12.75 GHz).

    just as the engines in your car requires different SAE oil ratings,so does satellite requiring you different settings.

    They really do that to make life difficult for us all... and then the factories can make more lnb types.....
