    Default Dish TV..in Abudhabi

    Dear All..
    Happy New year..to all.
I have some prob with my dish Tv.When i installed the dish,I was getting only 80 channels. But the guy who came install he brought one amplifer(thats what he says..looks like diseqc switch and he told it is a diseqc switch but have been upgraded into amplifier by adding some thing inside)
Good thing is after connecting the said amplifer I got 127 channels of dish tv in Abudhabi.
But Since 2 days I am getting only some channels like Star Channels..
Others have poor signal. Is there any way to increase the signal or does a line amplifer helps..Hope to hear from u guys..
    Best Regards

    Default your signal problem

the line amp works well for a c-band lnb. it is not meant for ku band lnb's. i've tried this earlier and the same result. try tuning the dish and the lnb itself - it gives good result. spend some time on the roof. worth it.

It is not an amplifier; it is just a splitter; for the two days it was rainy. so you are not getting full signal. In clean sky you will get good signal and also all the channels.

    Thank you
