    Default wt is the script blocking in internet explorer???

    can somebody tell me wt is script blocking in internet explorer and y we need to block it wt is harmful in it if we do not block this

    it avoids that u catch up any kind of these worm-type viruses as most of them are programmed in VB-Scripts (Visual Basic) ..... if don't block it u enhance the possiblity of getting a virus vis Internet explorer

    yeah, it's one of the vulnerabilities of IE, another one is activeX. so i use opera or firefox as it proves to be more safe compared to IE. any script kidde can write malicious codes in visual basic (.vbs) files and wreak havoc on your pc. remeber the iloveyou virus? it was a vbs file. actually it was not a hack but merely an exploit of the already known security hole in IE. oh well, that's what we get for using MS products... an OS with lots of bugs that you need to constantly patch up.

    no need for such things. google toolbar or yahoo toolbar has built-in pop-up stopper and can be configured to allow pop-ups on certain websites that you trust. opera and firefox has built-in pop-up blockers.

    Default PC problems

    Can someone help me.Please.......
    My PC while in operation,
    starts to ring a bell and then window/picture frame freezes.?
    Why.?
    or at times when I am typing a mail or replying a mail, the PC goes blank and come to the first stage of a window screen.
    I will have to re-enter that website , but I have to re-start the message)which has gone) from start.
    Why.?
    Can someone please help.?
