    Default Getting up to date with programming again

    Hi,

    New to the Forum.

    Used to enjoy messing about programming with my Keymaster in the old days.

    Wouldn't mind trying my hand at it again now but things have moved on.

    What sort of cards and programmers are the best these days?

    Have a Echostar Viaccess 3100IP Recevier with a 1.2m Dish.

    Any info appreciated.

    Cheers.

    Griff.

    nice try davidss1...

    @griff

    just an advice from an apprentice, maybe you should tell where exactly you're aiming that 1.2m dish so that the everyone here will know which s/w is suitable for your Echostar for possible viewing on scrambled signal. and welcome to rdi.

    My viewing line of sight is 30 degrees E to 30 degrees W on a steerable dish although it tends to spend most of it's time parked at 13 degrees E.

    In the old days, used to view things like the Canal Channels & Taquilla (anywhere with 'hot' viewing) but not sure if these can still be viewed.

    Thanks so far.
