Means Taking a receicer which supports metabox is waste ?

Because here some HUMANN receiver is available which supports Metabox is this waste taking those receivers which Suppoirts METABOX?

yes, it is a waste. unless of course you want FTA viewing only, then metabox will be ok since it offers superb video quality playback of the channels. as for it decoding showtime, TPS, etc.... forget about it.

hmp, been trying my luck on how to remove the kill function on the metadream patches to no avail. dunno if the kill function resides in the bootloader or the main patch itself. will continue to look at it though.

As far as I know bootloader can't make anything if u don't have the original program of a receiver ( I'm not sure ) . But Good Luck for ur try Sir Bok.

the first thing that loads is of course the bootloader. kill the bootloader and you won't have the main_zflash.bin to load at all. anyway... i have far greater worries to deal with (like finishing my house before i go home for vacation in 6 month's time, lol) than metaware products. i don't even watch tv (satellite) at all. im on this for experience's sake (and well, for the sake of those who own 'cloned' boxes who cannot load metadream).

I just use the old JAn 2006 MTG patch. A friend of mine uses the Metadream 1622 as it can AU a lot.

Problem is the 1626 which cause freeezing....

anyways as keys are posted on my own forum and rdi and other forums I dont mind for my own Emetabox as it has the best picture quality on Dream TV as you can adjust colour contrast brightness on remote control....
