    That Depends on your Budget

Dreambox is the better option lots of support

But if you have no limit of funds

Then You need a Relook 400s with built in HDD
Record your movies + MP3 and more

Relook was the First Linux Set top box

    2 CI Slots
    2 Smartcard Slots
    10'000 Channels +
    Embedded Proccessor

    NO FREEZE

    Enigma Firmware Supported
    Exellent Support www.satupdate.net

A real receiver with all the extras

Ah...Ha...........you forgot to add a zero to the dreambox 500s price.
If its Rs 1000 then we can talk business.

    Saying
    1) You give peanuts you will get monkeys.............
    2) Secondly you cant compare apples to oranges.

Presuming that you wanna watch pay channels for free or dirt cheap.

a)Mainly depends where you are located & what you wanna watch.( If you are in India forget the hassle, better to subscribe)

b)If you have a low budget go for starsat as for the price of one dream box you can get 3 starsat receivers.

If you are loaded then go for a dream box, but don't forget high definition is the future.

    c) Some models of starsat receivers can do similar job of dream box like card sharing.

    d) Not all dream box owners get free card sharing you need to pay a fraction, you also need a broadband connection, then should be in the satellite footprint zone, then you have server breakdowns etc.

    e) Do not forget legal hassles with card sharing.

    f) Lastly thin line between hobby & obsession, once you get a dream box you will get hooked to it & then you have Gemini,D lines, CC cams & G strings.....

Dreambox owners will tell you Dreambox
    Starsat owners will you starsat

That because they dont know any better since there not in the same position as me to try every receiver on the market ..

Hey i have loads of dreambox can sell you 125 usd and its sure play friendly as for a clone and the price .

But if we go back to the Original Receiver's

    1 ) relook original
    2 ) dreambox

Thats my order and will stay with it

Since i plugged this relook in my own personal room i have never used a dreambox again - no joke its 1000% more friendly and the HDD
Also all the latest firmware are for relook and then converted to dreambox scaled down ... SF Enigma - Pb Enigma and they are all for the Relook also know as IP/BOX = relook then scaled down to dreambox

    NO budget 1000% = relook 400s/ipbox

Or if u can wait after Xmas new Relook HD yes + linux

As things get more advanced and that poor little dm500 cant handle all that new firmware in future watch these guys upgrading to relook400s/ipbox or relook HD

Take my word for dm500 owners
