best is relative to experience, but start your choices with humax 5400z or Samsung DSR 9500 as they are most flexible. then you can go up with dreambox, topfield, triple dragon, etc. for CI boxes, there are a lot to choose from, really. so best to visit your satellite shop and have a discussion about neotionbox, metabox, super-ci 6000, etc.

    Default micro-x and astrovox

it is all depends on your experience.

so, when it comes to digital satellite receiver on performance, features, prices, software and technical support based on my own experience Micro-x and Astrovox models are one of the best receiver.

check our website and you can see the difference.

    FYI

    Default ASTROVOX 2600 FTA+

Astrovox 2600 FTA+ is one the best receievers, mainly due to the fact that updates are eaisly available in the net and it has a blind scan feature.

    @ dishman,

dont forget to include my box m8 which is the best base on my usage not only experience. The very first box ever seen in Kalinga Apayao, Bontoc Mt. Province. Mankayan Benguet, On top of halsema Point, Mapun Tawi Tawi Island and not to mention some place which is a very remote one where electricity runs by a small dynamo.
