    short answer: NO.

you can check on lyngsat.com and check for available satellites for south east asia, which is not much as most of it is via subscription only.

    Hi,

Yes, you can see the Hotbird and Atlantic Bird channels on your decoder if you bring it to the Philippines. But only the list of channels no signal.

    Cheers,

THanks boknoy_ph mate. I appreciate your info. I have further question if you don't mind. What is the best decoder I can buy for use in the Phil that is well supported for updates and how much it cost for me to put up a whole Sat system. Thanks. Regards.

Get an Emetabox 3, lot's of software upgrades. These are made in Korea so don't buy a box that's not made from Korea factory.

I personally own a metabox3 (as irdeto2engineer has said). there are others out there who use dynasat, micro-x mdr, etc. you can also use a pc dvb card for your computer. actually, the cost of the equipment will be more if you buy from Pinas, but if you know somebody from outside who are selling or going home (especially from the middle east) then you can get the receivers kinda cheap. a 60cm dish with lnb will cost you around 2000pesos in Pinas. Look around the forum, there are a lot of our kababayans installing the bootleg decoders for a fee.

Include also STARSAT SRX550D SUPER and ULTRA, these are AU for dream tv. I'm using it in the Philippines too.

The normal cost of receiver in Middle east is around US $10 = RS270.00 = BHD27.000 compare to Philippines which is Php25,000. You can ask guru1925 & mysfiles.
