    Default Dreambox 500S DiSEqC help

I need to connect 2 LNBs to my DM500S. One is a KU band LNB to get Intelsat 12 (45 E) & the other one isa C band LNB to get Telstar 18 (138 E).

I have connected the 2 cables as C band to port 2 & ku band to port 3 of my 4 port DiSEqC switch.
The on Menu > Setup > Service Searching > Satellite Configuration > non-standard user defined coniguration

Telstar 18-LNB0-5150,5150,5150, no increased voltage,DiSEqC version 1.0, A/B, Fast DiSEqC
    Intelsat 12 -LNB1-9750,10600, 11700, no increased voltage,DiSEqC version 1.0, B/A, Fast DiSEqC

After sav this configuration & did a Automatic Multisat Scan.

It scanned both satellites & found all the channels in both sats. But when I exit the nenu & went to watch the channels, for every channels in both of the sats it is giving a message "Service could not be found"

Please tell me how to correct this & connect the both LNBs to view all the channels.

I have pretty much the same set-up as you, but with Thaicom 2/5 (Ku) and intelsat 7/10 (C-band).

Only settings different is I used port 1 and 4 of my diseqC switch, and I chose diseqC version 1.2 in the settings. Port settings are A/A and B/B.

You might try swapping the LNB cables around until you get signal...

i believe the dreambox is a bit picky on the type of switches used.
i use a 4 way switch (eurostar brand) from falconsat . co . uk , it works fine.

You have to use a 4-sat configuration in the dm as you have a 4-port diseqc switch. Just put any sat on the unused ports in the sat config.
