    LNB sharing over internet

    anybody heard about that.
    is it possible?
    will it ever b possible.

    forgot to add sat list from 0 degree east to 360 degree west.....

    There is already a product which transmits local analogue cable tv via internet. They give some thing like a receiver and a transmitter.

    Cable signals ->that box->internet->that receiver box->tv.

    We can watch and change the channels etc.,. and everything happens through internet. I forgot its name They are sold in USA but they were developed in India.

    its not possible yet because of the high bandwidht and the frequency issue 950-2250 mhz.

    but you can downcoverte the IF to 45-860Mhz and u can use ur exisiting cablenet work to distribute the SAT IF by convertiong to 45-860mhz (Using QAM modulation)

    this is also very interesting ..

    I think you might be talking about the Slingbox.
    Interesting concept, but even if it was possible, you'd need a good (fast) internet connection (on both sides) which would be costly.

    Dear Wombat,Nothing is impossible Well I hope it happen in this 21st Century,but can't imagine whats the bandwidth like Thanks for the Idea.
