Default HORIZON Satellite Meter - hex files??

Horizon satellite meters have their program for the
satellite meter downloads according to region,
WHICH DONT ACTUALLY WORK IN E.AFRICA REGION
all downloaded to meter in hex format.
any ideas how i can program my own frequencies
depending on the sats i want to log in, not dependent
on the site preprogrammed areas or zones.
How do we work the hex files to take the freqs i want
    not what is given.
    Any ideas will help

to them again, and see if they can do that,
though my last mails to them go un answered.

    Hi yan,
at the momment am trying out my new Horizon DSM,
I woul still say prodig2 Sathunter was very good but priced like gold.
If the software system on Horizon gets well improved,
then it will be good and an affordable satmeter.

    some times i do wonder
what the prodig is made of
that its cost has always been so
high. the only good thing is it autoworks
for any learner, telling which sat you are actually on,
unlike the horizon, where you have to select what you want,
    then look for.

It would be well and good to advise anybody going out for a
satellite meter to think twice before getting the horizon satellite meters
or all the same the horizon range.
You will long for support that you wont get, you will send
transponders for set up into hex files while you get no answer
    from the same organization.
Same as BULDOG which probably has some support - not known
    to me.
BE CAREFUL BEFORE SETTING YOUR HANDS ON HORIZON GROUP OF METERS
