    @Daeng,

    please let me know which frequency u get on telstar 18 ku, cos i can not get them with my 10ft.
    Also can u check the sinosat on 110.0E ku band. as u r more north of us u might be able 2 get it.
    and yes, 76.5 ku loses signal in rain

    re pas 8 : Can you get Australia tv Alex ...thats stronger than BBC ?

    RE 76.5 ku Strange...I get the chinese ku 'zig zag' channel 80 percent but nothing whatsoever on the other transponders.
    Am going to show my installer that dreambox shot of 12405 and tell him he has to get it for me ! A bit naughty as Daeng's DM screen shot was in CM ...400b miles nearer to China but Wombat in Pattaya gets it...so no excuse for my installer...he can use my Measat 1.8 meter solid to test !

    Re 138ku and Sinosat : dont think anyone in BKK gets it.

    THE DILEMMA FOR US SAT HOBBYISTS WHEN WE CAN'T GET A SIGNAL
    Is it the dish ?
    Is it the lnb ? or the cable or the f plug ?
    Is it the tuner ?
    Is it the focus ?
    Is it the skew ?
    Finally is it the installer ?
    Thats a days work at least for an expert

    Same for me. In most cases "Installer", then "Skew", then the "Focus", then "Tuner", the plug and lnb, then the "Dish".

    In my dish I have adjusted or changed all the above except the Installer, who is myself.
