Default Starsat Sr-X2100CU v.181 Firmware update

    guys,

stay as far away as you can from this update (v.181). i thought i got a dead STB on my hand - just 10 minutes after i made the update, good thing i have the v.178. so i reinstalled v.178, then i'm off to watching the first round match of fedex and martina, and they won too - got to see the match point too. after much consideration of what new STB to buy, i think its good enough for a day!

just upload the older firmware (version 178 ), and it would work just fine.

when u connect ur STB to ur PC, have it turned off. and as you upload the firmware with the loader, plug-in ur STB (as the front panel switch won't work) - you should see some activity on the front panel display. after which, it should return to stand-by mode, and VOILA!

v178 still works with TP$ though, but just half an hour ago - E! Entertainment went bonkers (scrammmmmmmmmmbled).

    gud luck mate!
