    Default Important Warning !

    Here is a PM I got. Since it would be valuable to all members I put it here;
    Hi there,
    i saw a post you wrote in answer to somebody who bought something from www.fbosm.com . Did you purchase something from this site and was the transaction okay, did you recieve the goods? I was considering buying some things myself,
    many thanks
    Simon
    Here is My reply;
    Oh, never buy from them. They quoted a price for a Dreambox with shipping and when I sent the money after receiving the same they told it had been "detained by the customs" and wanted me to send another 150$ for the release-which I did not send.
    So they did not send me this item and not returned the money too.
    Therefore please do not try to buy from them-you may send my message to to them for verification and to know their version.
    Thanks for contacting and take good care.
    Felician Fernandopulle

    Hope this warning would be valuable for all those who are dealing with net purchasing.

    there's a lot of fooky dealers in the internet, especially if they want you to send the money via western union.

    If u send funds by western union u should be ok as the western union do have a copy of the receiver passport .If you go back to western union they can and will on your say so involve the police and report the matter to the goverment . So if this does happen with western union they are in big trouble they cannot steal your funds and if they get 4/5 complaints they would be put in Prison if they where genuine complaints of theft

    What a load of rubbish, do you really think that of someone spent a few hundred dollars on something and the transaction went wrong, Western Union would care. Grow up. They have better things to do. As for your crap about being sent to prison, Your dreaming, get of the medication your on.
    You have read the reports above in this thread, do you really think these people are telling lies, for the sake of it.
    As someone said, if you have doubts about a company ask on here if anyone else has had dealings with them ,,, Good or bad.
    Funny enough, there has been a considerable number of reports about your business practices, all bad unfortunatly.

    Thanks. But what the company say is the goods are "detained by the maritime customs of china"- which I do not understand.
    If this is a true claim how can they promote internet trading?
    If this is true why are they not warning the customers?
    Any Chinese dealer or customer may enlighten on this.

    if it is detained by the customs, that is THEIR problem and loss and should not pass it on to the customers. anyway, you sent it via bank transfer so you just might have a little bit of hope to recover even a bit of your money back.

    as for Phuket saying WU requires passport.... wtf! are you for real?

    In Thailand sender and receiver are required by LAW to show passport they also Photo Copy your Passport and you must sign .Then that copy of your passport is Faxed to Head Office and passed onto the Goverment .
    There is also a LAW about How Much You can send and Reciever Per Month .

    My advice to you which is better than all these post's is take all the paperwork you have and goto the Bank where you sent the FUNDS and explain your Problem .By LAW of the BANKS you can request the full amount of funds be returned back to your account ( Thats the LAW ) The bank will do this on your behalf and will contact the other bank . Then a letter will be sent from his bank to him that there is a problem with this transaction and he needs to goto his bank to clear this up 99% youll get your money back.

    Before anyone posts this is rubbish please read the terms and conditions set forth by the bank also read the terms and conditions of the sellers website if any THATS THE LAW

    you are hilarious. don't miscontrue what is written in your LAW and what is actually happening, lol. both Sender and Receiver? does everybody in the world own a passport? heck, for all i care, WU simply requires an ID... ANY ID for that matter that simply matches the name of the recipient to their records.

    you need to wake up to the harsh realities of life!

    There are LAWS that does protect the sender as well as the receiver .
    Shouting on RDI will not get his money back

    Well lets see if he goes to his bank

    Would like him to post on here the result of what happens with the bank ?

    The bank would be my first stop for complaint and not RDI
