    Default Flashing Philips DSX7071 & DSI175D/59R

    Hi friends,
I really need help from experts on this.
    I tried the following progs:
    - FlashCvt: it says no response data
    - Declink : it says Timeout!
    - Lockerflash: it says error...
I checked everything: null modem cable, COM port. Everything looks OK.

What is next steps to do?
    Thanks

Hi salomon, I'm not specialize for ur receiver but if ur receiver didn't accept loading software from RS 232 port then u need to flash it directly or through via JTag.
Or if u have labtool programmer then u will more easy to flash ur chip.

    Thanks.

    Thanks yan naing.
JTag is the last operation i want to do because i am not very skilled in it. This is the very first time i have to flash a receiver.
I read on a doc that i have to activate the communication function of the receiver but i do not know how to do so. Some say i have to press the A button of the remote control twice but this does not work.
    Regards

So JTag is the sensitive issue and u need to do possible ways to recover ur receiver before u do this job. Anyhow u can check about JTag'ing in my my JTAG Section to get some experience and feel free to ask about this.I'll help u as much as I can.

    Good Luck.
