Default ABC Asia Pacific card in dreambox

I put my ABC Asia Pacific card in my dreambox over the weekend and pointed the dish at IS 8, and was settling down to watch the rugby with the aussie commentary, but it blinked off just as the game started...

how can i check if my dreambox is reading my card...

how can i tell if my cards the problem, my dreambox is the problem or was this weekend ABC's problem?

    thanks...

    Alex

I would suggest that what you where watching was a FTA transmission, then when the Rugby started they encrypted, and your card was simply not doing anything.

ABC Asia Pacific do this, with some sporting events, perhaps you might be better of using Intelsat 2 [pas 2 ] 3901 H 30800 V-pid 1160, A-pid 1120, PCR-pid 1160 where nearly all the transmissions are FTA
