Default Which cardreader for server - Serial or USB port?

Which is the better cardreader to use for newcamd / Cccam server?

The serial port (eg Infinity USB Phoenix) or the usb type (MP3.5, 3.6, Inifinity USB Unlimited?

I thought the USB port type of cardreader is able to transmit more data faster than the serial port type.

Moreover, the PC motherboards have more USB ports than serial port. If use the serial port type, probably have to add serial port PCI cards.

Infinity USB Pheonix will do the Job and we have loads in stock
If your going to share loads of cards its recommened you use normal standered pheonix 3.5 Mhz card readers and not Pheonix readers that use the USB to power the pheonix mode

Do you mean this one is better 'Progbee - Pheonix 3.5 Mhz' since it is real Phoenix mode as compared to the Infinity USB Phoenix?

Progbee will not work for CS the power is driven by the USB and you will get error messege ( card not ready server )

You need a infinity usb pheonix
or if you want to share many cards on many ports you need a pheonix programer 3.5 MHZ with a external power supply of 12v dc
