Lightbulb G_box without dreambox or humax???

Dreambox has an ethernet jack for sharing and using g_box. I also heard that there will be a new small device that acts as an external ethernet connected to the receiver to use g_box on truman receivers.

Is there any way I could connect a starsat or any receiver (other than dreambox or humax) directly or through a device like that to the internet so i can watch the shared channels on my TV using starsat or any other receiver?

    thx alot

depends on when and if starsat decides to support that. some boxes have already adapted to G-box without ethernet by using the rs232 port and connected to PC (though most softwares are a bit unstable).
