    Default MPEG4/HD Channels


    Hi

    Is there any way to watch MPEG4 HD Channels linke Manorama News on 83E using Skystar 2 PCI Card.

    Yup..please use altdvb or dvbdream.

    . . . and you need mpeg decoder filter too.

    unfortenly sky star dose not suport mpeg4

    I installed DVBViewer / ProgDVB plus PowerDVD7. But not showing Manorama News Channel on 83E. Can anybody verify it?

    What you are referring to is a hardware decoder. But viewing of mpeg4 signals is also possible with a software decoder.

    decoding HD content via software is too taxing for your hardware. try sonic/ravisent codecs to see if it improves on your reception

    Why not just buy the Humax HD receiver....only $400 in the UK. Cheaper in Dubai and am sure Abuhannah will give us the Dubai price as he knows the market there well.

    hi, I am getting manorama news with DVB dream ..
    you have to install ATI Aviva transcoder...
    search for the codec and install it ...
