    Default Confusing!

Dear friends, I've notice right now that is my receiver and pc-dvb card is difference in their tv programming on same channel(Dream tv).I'm now watching FA cup semifinal match and I can confirm the different time between stb and dvb card is two seconds. On my angelbox receiver the match time is 75:00 and dvb card is showing (74:58 ) .

Anybody know why is it happen? not only in live program but also in all of dream tv package.

Have a nice day to all !

Dear aikki , I didn't set the summer time in both machine.I think it's not depend on the time it depend on the receive machine.Bcoz. in that time I'm watching in same channel, same satellite, same transponder.
And we've not summer/winter time as Europe.

    Thanks.

also make sure your PC clock is set at the same time as that of your receiver.

Dear Sir Boknoy, I didn't set the same time to both machine. But I don't think so its depend on the time bcoz. all motion of all channels r late in my dvb card. For ex. in a movie the car is start driving from the home in my receiver but on my dvb card the car is starting the engine at the same time.
I'll set the time to same in both receivers and test tonight.

    Thanks.

Yan.. I think this is because your PC-DVB card is providing 2 seconds buffer for its video signal.
I also noticed this with my DM7020 and NS3000. My NS3000 is at least 1 sec earlier than my DM7020. The benefit of this is when a sudden signal interruption less than 1 second occurs, my DM7020 can recover without me noticing the error but you will see black screen in an NS3K otherwise.

I think boy23 is right yan.
Maybe a faster pc might get rid of this problem?

Just try disabling the cache buffer in your viewer program. That should solve the mystery of the time difference. But this would introduce other problems. It is nothing to do with the speed of the PC, but is inherent to the characteristics of the DVB adapter you are using.
