There is no indication whatsoever that either our beloved Prophet (SAW) himself or any of his colleagues (Sahaba) ever celebrated Milad-un-Nabi as an Eid.

It will be more fitting to observe this day to emulate his teachings (Sunna) and try to become a better citizen of God's universe.

it is not the teachings of the Holy Prophet to celebrate his birthday in the way we try to but the real love is to follow the islam from the core of our hearts is real celebration.

we forget him though the year by not following islam properly and just try to fulfill our responsibility on this day.

i hope our members will also think over it coz to me it is very serious matter.

@the.....4u2, you are absolutely right. I have to study more Islam (with a capital I) and Sunnah (with a capital S). These two things I cannot learn just by watching the two channels that you mentioned. There are other better ways of learning too. Hope you agree.

By the way, I think you are more knowledgeable than me, or any other persons on this forum. Can you give an instance that I failed to know by whom and where Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated as Eid? This question take it not as a test of your knowledge, but to increase in my knowledge. Hope you don't mind enlightening me with this.

Thank you and PEACE be on you and on ALL.

i have been watching these two channels since very long.as far as QTV is concerned, many many things are being shown which are totally baseless.just for example, islam clearly teaches way of ISTIKHARA but on QTV have u ever watched how they do this thing.
PEACE TV no doubt is excellant channel. there has never been Eid-milad Nabi on the channel coz dr.zakir naik never utter a word but from quran & hadith.

my point is that we should base our faith on quran& sunnah not anything else even any person.as it was clearly pointed out by Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) on the Jumat-ul-wida.
