Pink, Reamonn, Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson headline B’estival
Nearly 70,000 people worldwide are expected to attend the festival.

BUCHAREST - Heading the bill at the B’estival, held at Romexpo June 29 through July 1, are Faithless, Morcheeba, Hooverphonic, Pink, Kasabian, Reamonn, Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson and Wu-Tang Clan. They will be joined by Moldovan band Zdob and Zdub and Romanian bands Omul cu Sobolani and Suie Paparude. In the festival, there will also perform Chicks & Sped (Germany), Raining Pleasures (Greece) and D2 (Bulgaria), Emag!c Entertainment, the organisers of the event, announced Wednesday. The tickets cost RON 60 each for day one of the festival and RON 75, for days 2 and 3. Three-day subscription pass tickers cost RON 180 each, and the VIP tickets – RON 300 a day. According to organisers, over 4,500 subscription pass tickets have been sold of a total of 6,000. They also said they expect between 50,000 and 70,000 people to attend the shows. “We have quite many requests from America,” Laura Coroianu, managing partner at Emag!c Entertainment, said, adding that the highest demand is for tickets on day three of the festival, headlined by Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper , who have never succeeded each other on the same stage.

Day one of the festival will be dedicated to the electronic sounds, featuring Hooverphonic, Morcheba and Faithless. Kasabian, Reamonn and Pink will perform on day two, and Wu-Rang Clan, Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson on day two of the festival. Also performing on the last day of the festival, DJ Phil Hartnoll from Orbital, a pioneer of the British techno music, and Magyar producer Yonderboi.

According to Emag!c Entertainment, B’estival 2007 will be the first international standard festival held in Romania. The open air event will unfold over an area of 30,000 sq m. There will be installed three stages in parking lot C at Romexpo, to the left of the Central Pavilion as you come from Piata Presei Libere.
