    Default 05 dish with one cable


    Dear All,

    Please advise me how can i have Arabsat, Nilesat, Hotbird, Asiasat. and PAS 10 with one cable,

    Note: im already using Arabsat, nilesat and hotbird with one cable and im a user of Orbit Network

    Yes you can use a 12V on/off switch and connected on the receiver 12V out put,you can get 08 dish with 2 diseq connection . Make first 4 dish 12 offa and other 4dish 12 on.....

    thank you but does it mean that i will be having only one cable and i will use two switch with one cable please can u let me how?

    yes one cabe until 0/12v switch then from 0/12v 2cables until diseqc switch.

    Yes it is very easy 1 2 3 4 dish connected one diseq and make a wire to connection point of the 0 v point and other one connected 12v at last the out put of 12v controll switch connected with RX (stb) .

    Are you refering this type of switch? (which is required 12v additional cable)

    Here is my suggestion. This holds good if your receiver can support nesting of Diseq switches. I am sure some of the viewer softwares support this - I mean for a PC based receiver card. If this sounds interesting, then read on. else forget it.

    I have not tried this myself, but pretty sure that it works.

    Connect the three satellites to the four inputs of a normal diseq switch. The other two satellites to another diseq switch. Connect the output of one of the diseqs as an input to the other diseq switch. From there, only one cable to your receiver.

    You can experiment and let others know the outcome. It does not harm to do a little experimenting.
