    Heh Guys

When you send something from Thailand that has any value, then you must send by EMS, which is the registered and trackable and fast post option. It costs only a little more than standard post but is quite different, and operated by a large international shipping company who contract to Thai Post and always get it right and on time.
If you dont use EMS then yes, you are on your own and take the risk but with EMS you are safe and happy.
The Phuket company to which you refer used to say they send by EMS so dont give them a chance to claim no responsibility due to poor post company practice.
EMS works! You can trust and rely on it.

Parcels do go missing in any country not just thailand
    this is a worldwide problem

EMS is SAFE but parcels still go missing if sending large volume's

If a parcel goes missing YOU have to make a claim and this claim will not be resolved upto 6 weeks thats standered pratice worldwide due to they have to track both destinations and lots of paperwork

In Europe most companys will not send any parcels to hungary as the missing rate is around 80 % only DHL parcels are safe

We send EMS 95 % delivery rate
We also send DHL 98% delivery rate / 2% does go missing
    DHL/EMS are subsidery companys

All postal service are the same there is no guaranteed delivery
Only diff's with EMS & DHL you can take extra insurance so you can claim back the value of the goods this can take upto 2 months

    READ THERE POLICY

    regards

Sorry friends but do you really know what EMS IS ? Well its a co-operative and each country has a different EMS contractor and therefore by definition varying grades of service.
Parcelforce is the UK contractor and calls its service DATAPOST .It was the Parcelforce incoming overseas EMS mail depot which was shut down a few years ago due to contant theft and pilfering there.
Therefore to be certain of a first grade service both the outgoing mail and the incoming mail EMS coop member must be of the highest standard and that is clearly impossible as each country's service varies.
