Apple pushes back AppleTV launch date

Consumer electronics company Apple has pushed back its AppleTV release date to mid-March. The product was originally scheduled to launch in February.

A spokesperson for the company said that 'wrap up' was taking longer than expected, offering no other explanation for the delay.

AppleTV is a set top box device that allows users to wirelessly stream music, videos and photos from a PC to a digital television. The device can also store up to 50 hours of video.
