Default Swap Hardisk to another Dreambox 7020

I have to send back my gemini 3.30 dreambox and will remove my harddisk.
I have films on it and wonder if I put the disk in the new machine with Gemini 3.40 on it will I be able to play back my films and record on it without changing anything on the disk.

as long as the new unit have the same file system, or support the older file system if will work, just like in PC win98 file system is fat32, but XP's native us NTFS file system but it supports also fat32 file system. you can swap harddisk in different flavors of Linux, if the file is only concern not booting! STB are rom booted!
The more we learn things the more we hunger for more! That's human nature I guess!
