Question Simple Q, but plz dnt laugh ;)

    Dear Friends

I know its simple Q and just for completeness for myself I'm asking this.
Plz ignore it if its looks funny to you.

    I believe ....
    1. The number of TPs (Transponders) of any particular satellite remains un-altered/constant throughout the life time of the satellite

    2. The frequency parameter of the TPs also constant (not sure)

Just plz tell me whether I'm right or wrong.

    A. 1) True transponders cannot be increased or added, as there will not be any requirement to launch additional sattelites for a period of time.

    A. 2) Downlink (broadcasting) channel frequency can be changed, within the standard range.
