Question Foxtel or Austar Digital in Australia, hacked or not yet ?

    Hi Everybody!

I have a question about Digital TV in Australia. As title says, any info about Foxtel or Austar Packages in Australia? Are they hacked or not yet?

And what Encrypted Channels can I receive in Melbourne, Australia ?

    Thanks for any help

Not M8. F*xtel spend Millions of $$$ for encryption (videogurd+ir****2). which is almost impossible to h**k.

So forget it and go for Cheap subscription not encryption, ha ha ha
    Enjoy while FTA....................

Satpalchat is correct,, I think you will find that Fox will swing all it's transmissions over to NDS [vidioguard] before to long , and discontinue there irde*o services.
As for Austar, while there using Ird**o now, I think they will be swallowed up by Fox, within a very short time, and also revert to NDS, as the fox group does in the rest of the world.

And please remember every country carrying the Fox group are also using a different verant of NDS encryption..

Only thing more secure then NDS would have to be PowerVu.

Yep but hope it is NDS - look at the other euro bbs's on this issue - seems there is a small break through with some of the variants using some pci cards and *nix boxes (and NOT card sharing either - full CW's it seems).. indeed good news
