As far as I know L= Left Wave Signal , R= Right Wave Signal , V = Vertical Wave Signal and H = Horizonal Wave Signal.
Some receivers haven't R/L on polarity , so we use like this L=H and R=V.

(Plz. correct me if I'm wrong).

L and R are circular waves so from the 12 position of the clock L goes anticlockwise while R goes clockwise.
for the the V and H the waves are vertical like in www, for H the waves are horizontal as in zzz.
but as above by bro yan where receivers dont have L and R we substitute L for H and R for V, at the same time add a fibre polariser on the C band LNB to act for the circular waves while we receive as V and H on the receiver.

I never seen freq. like this! Are you sure?

For L & R polarization, follow the good suggestion gived in this tread.
