    Default Technosat 9000 Series

    Dear Friends,

Just wanted to know about this receiver (9800 Omega). One of my friend wants to sell this. It has a ****** Cam. How much will receiver cost and the cam. Can we use the Cam in some other receiver ?

Is this receiver still supported. What channels can be watched if it is patched.

    Thank you

    Regards

if it has a plug in cam then the cam can be used in any other receiver with cam slot, of course with the card too. ****** cams cannot work alone but with ****** cards. if cam is inbuilt (embeded) the only for that receiver.
cost and details on technosat - i have not much idea

If u r comparing t9800 with mvision then i would say go for t9800 then, cuz regular updates r available for that STB.
By the way is it T9800 R3R, R3X OR R3C?

    TAKE CARE.

    Thank you Loverbird,
I'm pretty new to Satellite receivers, Esp with Technosat. How to findout which model I have. The front panel says
Technosat 9800 Omega Common Interface. It says two slots for CI.

    thank you

    Regards
