The idea is to make the people enter into their net for low cost like Mobile Phone plans. Earlier it was costly to get a new sim connection but now they reduced the entry cost and getting the money in installment thru monthly charges. The same way these people are reducing entry cost and they are going to keep on increasing the monthly charges.

Another source for this news... http://www.business-standard.com/com...o=269035&tab=r

Zee-owned Dish TV, however, has introduced a new rental scheme for the CAS notified areas. The set top box and installation cost for a Dish TV connections is Rs 1,500

But the Question here is......... Is it only for CAS notified areas.....?

One small correction. CAS would be implemented only in 3 metros in Jan 2007 and not in 4 metros as stated.
