    Question Porn in Southern Africa

It's funny how there is only one porn channel accessible in the southern Africa region. Hey I am happy our kids don't get to watch filth but Just one
This goes back to the issue of most of the uncrackable encryptions. Look here :

    - Hotbird I believe carries most channels and look at the encryptions it has.
    - Pas 7/10 I believe this carries most for southern Africa and there you go IR2. not only is it IR2 they have also decide to regularly keep updating the versions now we are on Card Version 5 and .... lets not even talk about CnX CAS 7

I would have thought "since it is claimed" Africa is less developed hence they do not have the appropriate equipment to hack the satellites. so why use the most expensive encryptions on Africa when the Europeans have a walk in the park encryptions, does that not defeat the whole purpose of geographical profit/loss.

I think I know what is happening here. Not only do they want to loot and plunder the African natural resources now the want to suck our wallets dry.

As for the porn issue well I think we all know we prefer the real thing and there is no need to go around showing off what you are packing when the average size . . . . opps off topic

But seriously guys am I the only one who has these sentiments. Oh just in case anyone decides to get defensive on behalf of the Europeans. Multichioce runs from South Africa but is owned by the Britons.
PLEASE NOTE I HAVE NO BEEF WITH THE EUROPEANS

Oh let me not be rude and ungrateful We do have a lot of spiritual FTA channels. Which reminds me of another issue the Romans {Europeans} doctored Christianity. Funny an't it. Now I understand the Arabs.

the porn heading is offensive. encryption is; use the best where there is bound to be hacking, and hacking comes out of poverty-cannot afford but want to watch. for charges is charge high, by the time they want me out - i have made my bucks. thats it pal. remember the services were for the elite in society.

    @cogil

comments appreciated but look here my friend. give me one Southern African country that manufactures FTA STB/DVR. there you go none. where are we getting them from? Europe/Asia hey who hacked dream box? as for the Title. I think it is fine as it is, it does not seem to be stopping people from reading it. Do you forget the satanic verse that say sex sales. Where ever you finds porn channel you are bound to get a horde of fantastic channels other than porn of cause.

For the record I am not satanic and I just download the wrong pdf and to my shock ....

I agree with Cogil, Porn ch's are not what I or any of my kids are going to watch.
As for MC, In the past many of us, (PAS7/10 Ku) used to have compromised cards, I can still remember my contact at MC telling me they estimated about 80,000 "pirate" cards in circulation.
Hey Man, even I sold them they were everywhere, supplied to Lesotho and Swaziland.
Think what it cost them to recall every old smart card and replace them all with new cards.
Even if only 10% of the piarate viewers subscribed, it would probably have been worth it. At about US$ 70 per month "ZAR 490" for a PVR "dual view" subscription, MCSA is a lot of cash to fork out for TV.
I can understand why so much time and money was put into a secure system.

i love to hear that still some parents are very much aware of their childs mentality awarenes. but for me the earlier the child knows about the adults movies the better. why? sooner or later they come to know it somewhere on the street. so why not start in your own backyard.....

    peace!

Let's be free minded , and accept all kind of programs . For blocking access you can put PIN code on that channels or maybe erase them .

    Default Adult conent

    @ Mafutah

    Back to your original posting.....
Remember some time ago "Don't Panic TV" started promo's on PAS7/10 and then started their adult service.
Based in London they had agents in South Africa who supplied smart cards and Topfield decoders. As I remember subscribers paid in advance.
They were forced into court battles with ICASA, stopped transmitting, I have never heard of them again in our region.
Apparently this was due to the fact that they had to have a ICASA license to broadcast adult conent to South African subscribers.
I am no prude, I registered to be an agent, and luckily never sold the service.
Be gratefull for the "ONE" ch on Telstar.

it's just that nobody bothers, maybe? technology knows no bounds nowadays. and remember how your Nelson Mandela used to get "the economist" magazine when it was still banned in your continent.

anyhow, you got the internet. get your dose of porn from torrents if you like.

I think people are getting a bit lost here My complain is nothing to do with watch of feeding on porn nor doing others husbands wifes. the thought does give me funny ideas but I am just complaining about crap options we have in our regions. look here I wake up one morning and I am a wealthy "yah I know dream on":> and decide to chase up on the 500 hundred channel dream I had in my introductory IT lessons [damn the miss was fine too... ]. Any way Guess what I will only get a 150 channels (dmx is not a channel ) in my language. Already I am force to send my kids to French school so as to not make them not miss out on possible dreams I failed because I did not under stand the language. They call it multi-choice but I do not see the choices i have. If you are not a sports fanatic you know what i am talking about unless you have just got it recently say in the last 3 months then you will still be excited. Do you know half the time you will be watching only three channels M-net, MM and MM2 well action X is trying its bit. but picture this watching a movie that has a time line of 24 hours over 6 months. seriously Jack Bauer would have not won the award. give 24 over a period of one week yes I will pay. That is beside the point with is Multi-choice might as well be called No-choice. Lets not even talk about the ads.

Not a lot of ads on multichoice channels. If you are a Multichoice subscriber like I am then you will know that DSTV Multichoice have recently publicly stated that they will not add porn to this package.

I have Dream TV Agila2, DSTV PAS10, UBC Thaicom5, and other FTA and pay channels to keep me occupied. DSTV is a reasonable package but it is the most expensive in the region.

I guess if you really don't like Multichoice dont pay the fees, turn off your TV and get some live porn.... Porbably it's not far from where you watch TV... unless you're performing on the living room floor for all to see.

Very Funny. and you just had to show off. How about you come to the southern Africa region just for a day and see if you can survive an hour at a tv set with all the equipments you need. How do you expect me to comment on Agila2 here we only dream about a comet colliding that satellite just enough to beam a couple of transponders in my area [Zimbabwe]. Well as for ads it has been five months or so since I last paid for that maybe they have improved.
