    Default Echostar DSB 700 FTA?


    hi
    i have a Echostar DSB 700 FTA Receiver, in the receiver menu there is a function named ( SMATV Configuration ) where there are option Symbol rate alternative 1, 2, 3, I want to know what is the use of this SMATV configuration and how to use it?
    and can i upgrade this receiver to a receiver which can input keys?

    does anyone having this receiver?

    have always seen this smatv choice on my settings on wiztech but nothing configures whenever i choose it, have ignored it but would look soon now that you have asked abt it, and know its use.
    have assumed it means small aperture tv, where the settings are of your own making - not standard.
    about code menu visit dragon-data.com and see if your receiver is listed for software upgrade - you'll get instructions from softwares.
